Janet Napolitano on the threat of domestic terrorism...

In an interview with the Louisville Courier-Journal, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said that the threat of domestic terrorism is receiving ever more attention by her agency. And what exactly does Ms. Napolitano mean by "domestic terrorism"? See here and here.

Is there really any doubt that "ideologically unwanted" individuals will soon be listed as "Domestic Terrorists"? Dr. John Holdren, advisor to President Obama for Science and Technology, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), co-authored a book with Paul Ehlrich entitled "Ecoscience" in which he recommended that, "A transnational 'Planetary Regime' should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force."

President Obama has already called for a Civilian National Security Force. The forces of socialism are poised to take this country and those who refuse to go along will first face intimidation and threats and eventually silencing. Many Americans are beginning to wake up. There is an intense division in this country. In the words of actor Jon Voigt, "There’s a real question at stake now. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?...

We are witnessing a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms. We are becoming a socialist nation, and whoever can’t see this is probably hoping it isn’t true. If we permit Mr. Obama to take over all our industries, if we permit him to raise our taxes to support unconstitutional causes, then we will be in default. This great America will become a paralyzed nation." (See here).

Things are spiraling out of control now. Americans who love this country need to take a stand and act now before these socialistic anti-God fanatics totally destroy this nation.

Stewart, as Paul warned, those of us who "cling to guns and religion" or "worn arguments" against homosexuality will need to be "re-educated" or just eliminated as incompatible with the new order. This is a socialist revolution aimed at overthrowing this once-great Republic. Tell everyone you know that they must rise up and make their voice heard before it's too late.

Obama has praised Hugo Chavez's takeover of the media in his country. He's a Marxist who would have his "Diversity Czar" silence conservative radio:

FCC's new 'Diversity Czar' revives Fairness Doctrine fears
August 17, 4:38 PM

Conservative talk radio fans have new reason to fear for the future of their favorite shows.

For years, these loyal listeners have worried that one day, a Democratic Congress and White House would revive the Fairness Doctrine, which was abolished by President Reagan in 1987.

That longstanding FCC policy obliged broadcasters to offer "balanced" commentary on "controversial issues of public importance."

The Fairness Doctrine sounds noble, but, as noted by Val E. Limburg with the Museum of Broadcast Communications:

The doctrine, nevertheless, disturbed many journalists, who considered it a violation of First Amendment rights of free speech/free press which should allow reporters to make their own decisions about balancing stories. Fairness, in this view, should not be forced by the FCC. In order to avoid the requirement to go out and find contrasting viewpoints on every issue raised in a story, some journalists [and radio producers/programmers] simply avoided any coverage of some controversial issues. This "chilling effect" was just the opposite of what the FCC intended.

The abolition of the Fairness Doctrine led directly to the phenomenal growth of conservative talk radio as we know it today: a multi-million dollar industry boasting hugely popular, opinionated, controversial (and politically powerful) hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.

Now some observers believe one of Obama's new FCC appointments indicates another "chill" on the horizon.

Last month, Mark Lloyd was granted the rather Orwellian title of "Chief Diversity Officer" at the FCC. In his 2006 book Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America (University of Illinois Press), Lloyd recommended that private broadcasters be forced to, in effect, heavily subsidize their competition: those public broadcasters that already receive millions in taxpayer dollars each year.

This financially onerous combination of fines and fees -- amounting to an estimated $100-million and $250-million each and every year -- would essentially force many private broadcasters out of business. It's hard for some cynics not to wonder if that might not be the whole idea.

Lloyd has repeatedly stated that he opposes the reintstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, but that's only because he's come up with other ways to castrate conservative talk radio..."
